A Knowledge Synthesizer for People Well-being Dimensions and Antecedents
As remote working during and post the COVID-19 pandemic blurs the line between work and life, more and more organizations are prioritizing employee well-being to develop a resilient workforce. For example, a 2021 survey by Future Workplace (2021) found 68% of senior HR leaders rated the well-being of their employees as a topmost priority. The Knowledge Graph on Employee Well-Being (KG-EW) is a visual representation and query system of the state-of-the-art scientific knowledge concerning different employee well-being outcomes (e.g., physical, psychological, economic, and social wellness) and their predictors. Built on a systematic review and meta-analysis of the scientific research in the management and applied psychology areas, we show internal and external factors affecting different aspects of well-being. The raw data were collected from 147 research papers published between 2010 and 2020 from 10 elite management and applied psychology journals.
